when wyvern makes his crime fighting debut jamie thinks it’s… straight up amazing.. like the coolest thing he’s ever seen, something right out of some comic book!! he ends up really looking up to him for the good he does (hypocritically considering how he treats avery) and the fact he’s got awesome powers and whatnot, especially after he makes his own crime fighting debut and meets him for the first time!

with avery he just associates him with an incident that had them both held back a year when they were in middle school and because jamie highly values his grades and how well he does academically, he holds one hell of a grudge for it and can’t think positively about avery at all! until he obviously finds out who wyvern really is which leads to some Good Ol’ Internal Conflict for him
